new and exciting opportunities for the Boomers and
Beyond.

The YMCA promotes healthy living and is reaching
out to the community with a focus group inviting
"Baby Boomers" (those born between 1946-1964)
and Seniors to be a part of the Y's first focus group.
This focus group will help create new opportunities
activities to serve the "Baby Boomer" population.

LEARN TO SWIM
February 20 - 24 - School Break Week
The Y's Learn to Swim Program is free and available
to all youth in Knox County in kindergarten though
fifth grade with limited swimming ability. Both
morning and afternoon sessions will be offered and
are a half hour in duration. Lessons will provide swim
assessment, water safety and basic swimming skill
instruction. Space in each session is limited.
Morning offerings -
9 AM, 9:30 AM and 10 AM
Afternoon offerings -
3 PM, 3:30 PM and 4 PM
Participants in the Learn to Swim Program will
receive a $5 swim lesson coupon good toward the
Spring I Session. For more information on aquatics

FAMILY
FUN NIGHT
The YMCA Childcare Program will be hosting their
annual Family Night Out fundraiser on Friday,
March 16 from 5-8 PM The evening will include
dinner, entertainment and raffle packages! Proceeds
from the event will support the purchase of new
playground equipment and educational toys.
