Membership Categories
Youth – Birth through high school.
Young Adult – 18 years up to and including 21 years old.
Senior – 62 years and up.
Single Parent – 1 parent in household with children age 17 and under.
Family – 2 adults in household with or without children age 17 and under..
Bank Draft Fees are based on annual amount including a $1 per month processing fee
Membership rate increases typically take effect March 1st of each year.
Increases are based on cost-of-living indicators.
Wear & Tear Fees
The Penobscot Bay YMCA has instituted a “Wear & Tear” fee for individuals taking
out a new membership. This is a one-time fee, as long as the membership is kept in
good standing and is used to help refurbish equipment. If a membership lapses 30 days
or more it is considered a new membership and the fee must be paid again. The "Wear
& Tear" Fees are as follows:
3 month – Annual
Youth & Young Adult $30.00
Adult, Senior, Senior Couple, Single Parent Family & Family 50.00
1 Month
Youth & Young Adult $ 10.00
Adult, Senior, Senior Couple, Single Parent Family & Family 15.00
MasterCard / Visa
Now you can spread the cost of your membership out over the duration of your
membership. Ask us for more details about this or any of our other easy-to-live with
payment options.
