| Ned Kyle Annual Boat Auction Pioneered by our very own board member, Ned Kyle, this auction is a major component in our ability to meet our fundraising goals. Donated motorboats, sailboats, dinghys, outboards, trailers, rowboats and nautical equipment is auctioned at the this event held at the YMCA on the second Saturday of June. Click on this link to learn more and see the 2008 Boat Auction Inventory List Halloween Spooktacular A fun two day community event featuring Trick or Treat stations, middle school dance, hayrides, bouncy houses, traveling zoos and various children’s games, activities and contests. YMCA Annual Raffle & Auction. Creating opportunities for kids, this event is held in August. We sell 500 tickets at $100 each, provide a fantastic dinner of lobster or chicken and a chance to win $10,000 in cash! There will be several live and silent auction items as well as raffle prizes. Proceeds from this event go to sending youth to summer camp. Capital Campaign The Penobscot Bay YMCA is nearing completion of a $2.3 million “Secure the Future” capital campaign that will pay off construction and financing costs for its new Union Street facility.
